Ole Nutrients, a leading Egyptian organic superfood brand, aimed to refresh its packaging to better reflect the vibrant and natural quality of its products. Known for its wide range of nutrient-dense superfood powders, Ole Nutrients sought to create a more engaging and modern visual identity for its product pouches. Above and Beyond collaborated with Ole Nutrients to revamp the flavor pouches, enhancing the appeal and functionality of the packaging to align with the brand’s mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Challenge: The existing packaging needed an update to stand out on the shelves in a highly competitive market and communicate the benefits of the superfoods more clearly to customers. The new designs had to reflect Ole Nutrients’ core values of quality, sustainability, and transparency while also providing a fresh and vibrant aesthetic that appeals to health-conscious consumers.

Our Approach:

  1. Flavor-Centric Design: We focused on making each flavor distinct by using bold colors and illustrative elements that represent the key ingredients, such as vibrant greens for matcha and spirulina or deep purples for acai and blueberries. This approach aimed to create a visually appealing palette that quickly communicates the product’s contents and benefits.
  2. Modern and Minimalist Aesthetic: The packaging design was simplified to remove clutter and emphasize essential information. Clean lines, clear fonts, and concise messaging were used to enhance readability and attract consumers’ attention at a glance.
  3. Sustainable Materials: In line with Ole Nutrients’ commitment to the environment, we selected eco-friendly packaging materials that are recyclable and retain the freshness of the superfood powders.
  4. Enhanced Brand Identity: We ensured the new pouch designs were cohesive with Ole Nutrients’ overall brand identity, incorporating their logo, brand colors, and unique typography to maintain brand recognition.

Execution Highlights:

  • Vibrant Color Schemes: Developed a color-coded system for each flavor, ensuring easy identification for customers.
  • Illustrative Elements: Added subtle illustrations of key ingredients to convey the natural and organic essence of each product.
  • Material Upgrade: Opted for matte-finished, biodegradable materials to enhance the premium feel of the packaging while supporting sustainability.
